The sky seems to redden as the earth spins on its axis,The red scorching heat burning outer space into smithereens, until every single thing in our universe has been destroyed.
This mad menacing monster has destroyed our lives, the lives of the animals and the trees,
the lives of our families,
and everything we care about.
As climate change worsened over the years,
we took no action,
and here is where it led us.
Into oblivion.
Neither space nor earth,
neither the sun nor moon,
neither heaven nor hell,
just… darkness.
Sadness and devastation to what our actions have caused us. We never wished this madness upon us,
but we never did anything about it.
We thought it would fix itself,
that the world would go back to the way it used to be. Bright, joyful, green.
Every shade of green you could imagine.
Like we were living in a gorgeous ripe leaf,
until that leaf started to rot.
Step by step,
day by day,
bite by bite,
caterpillar by caterpillar.
Our world has been consumed by our carelessnesscausing the skies to turn a shade of maroon.
The sun has seemed to have disappeared, hiding under the clouds of our wrongdoing.
We waited and waited for it to go away, but it continued,
until the fully rotten,
bitten leaf had withered away.
With us. Into oblivion.
