So many people fear time
That they’re wasting it by making silly little mistakes
I believe that time is not based off of those rough patches
Time is based off the little things that make us human
Scratching our knees while playing tag on the recess
But then the beauty of continuing to play for the fun of it
And then time passes and maybe tag isn't the thing bringing you joy anymore
Maybe it's having a sleepover with your friends and laughing with them until your stomach hurts
The feeling of watching a movie you may have already seen 1000 times but they make it all the more interesting
Then those friends grow apart, but that's okay too
Time heals it and you find new friends
Maybe ones that you don't need to entertain and you can just be yourself with Maybe it's reconnecting with your family that you didn't realize were aging with time The realization that you can't take anything for granted
Those little mistakes and then peaks make us who we are
Without them, time would be meaningless
The more we appreciate these moments, the more time becomes a concept based on how you feel
Aging might be scary, but it's the same growth as emotionally
My hands might get wrinkly and my feelings might change
But as long as I remember the time along the way, it makes all the difference
So i might be a tad scared of time, but thats okay
Its only one moment in my whole life
One miniscule moment
Yet add those all together,
That's what creates time.
